Join in on the fun with the 2019 Olde Glory Days Patriotic 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run!

Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place finishers in each age division and overall male and female winners.  We will also be awarding two patriotic awards; one for the most patriotic runner and one for the most patriotic pet!

Registration Fee for the 5K is $20

Registration Fee for the 1 Mile Fun Run is $10

Registration begins at 6:00 a.m. and buses will leave for the trail at 7:10 a.m.

The Healthy Heart 5K and Health Fair will support the initiatives of the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association and the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists chapters at Thomas Jefferson University.  These organizations, run by dedicated student pharmacists, provide health screenings and education to community members on topics including heart health, diabetes, smoking cessation, nutrition and exercise, immunizations, and safe use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.  Free health screenings and education will be provided at the finish line! 

Course: The course will start at Wheel Fun Rentals and run a double loop around FDR Park ending at Picnic Area 2. 

Awards: Overall and Age Groups: Top 1-3 overall (men and women), first place in each age group (men and women). 

Amenities: FREE health screenings and Health Fair, raffle prizes, t-shirts, scenic course, water stations, and post-race food and refreshments. 

Cost: $30 pre-registered, $35 race day.

The Greater Valley YMCA, Easton / Phillipsburg Branch, will hold its 21st Annual Firecracker 4 Mile Run/Walk this Independence Day.  Join us to kick off your July 4th celebration! Your morning will be filled with fun and smiles during this great event for families as well as competitive runners.  Run or walk our beautiful four mile course at Fairview Park in Palmer Township. Strollers welcome!  The kids will love our FREE one mile Kids Fun Run around the ball field!  Day-of-Registration opens at 7 AM at the Fairview Park pavilion.  

Run starts at 8:30 AM and walk starts at 8:35 AM. 
FREE Kids Fun Run starts 9:30 AM.

Medals awarded for top male/female runner and walker, and top three male/female times by age category.  First Place Overall Male & Female; First Place Walker Male & Female; Top 3 Male & Female by Age Group: 8 to 11, 12 to 18, 19 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60+.  Cost: $25 until 6/6, $30 afterwards and race day.

SOUTHAMPTON-WARMINSTER AREA LIONS CLUB Fourth of July 5K Trail Run For Sight – Proceeds Benefit Lion’s Sight Projects.  Primary Sponsor: Tri-County Eye Physicians & Surgeons, PC.  Start Time – 8:00 AM. 

Location – Race will take place on measured course through Tamanend Park Trails. 

Check-In Begins @ 7:00 AM at Klinger Middle School, 1415 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966.

The fun-filled morning takes place on the island of Martha’s Vineyard with hundreds of runners to raise over $50,000 for this non-profit camp serving people with special needs annually. The start and finish line are in the same location. Limited parking is available so please car pool, bike, walk, etc and arrive early if possible! Bring the whole family. But, because the race starts and ends on a farm, please… no dogs. The race is rain or shine. No refunds, sorry!

Please note: There is limited WiFi at the farm – pre-registering helps reduce wait time on race day. You can pick-up your bibs that morning or the day before.

THE COURSE

The race begins at the beautiful Farm Institute in Katama/near South Beach in Edgartown, MA and courses out of the farm onto Katama Road before taking a left onto Edgartown Bay Road with views of the harbor. Upon reaching the entrance to South Beach, the course takes a right (back onto Katama Road) and runs back along the farm to the finish line.

Join Bay Community Support Services, Inc. for our 7th Annual Walk Run Roll Event on Saturday April 27th, 2019 at Greenwell State Park located in Hollywood, MD. 100% of proceeds benefit people with disabilities.

Catering to people of all ages and abilities, this family fun event is for all fitness levels including 10K (timed) , 5K (timed), and Fun Run (Not timed) with a “Roll Course” for Wheelchairs and Strollers.
