08/17/19 8:45 am Saturday The fun-filled morning takes place on the island of Martha’s Vineyard with hundreds of runners to raise over $50,000 for this non-profit camp serving people with special needs annually. The start and finish line are in the same location. Limited parking is available so please car pool, bike, walk, etc and arrive early if possible! Bring the whole family. But, because the race starts and ends on a farm, please... no dogs. The race is rain or shine. No refunds, sorry! Please note: There is limited WiFi at the farm – pre-registering helps reduce wait time on race day. You can pick-up your bibs that morning or the day before. THE COURSE The race begins at the beautiful Farm Institute in Katama/near South Beach in Edgartown, MA and courses out of the farm onto Katama Road before taking a left onto Edgartown Bay Road with views of the harbor. Upon reaching the entrance to South Beach, the course takes a right (back onto Katama Road) and runs back along the farm to the finish line. BIB & T-SHIRT PICK-UP / IN-PERSON REGISTRATION Friday August 16th 9a-12p at Camp Jabberwocky (200 Greenwood Ave Vineyard Haven MA 02568). Save time race day! More Info: DAY TRIPS / TRANSPORTATION Steamship Authority has a ferry departing 7:00am from Woods Hole, arriving 7:45 am to Vineyard Haven, MA. We recommend confirming the schedule. By public bus (Vineyard Transit), you will need to connect at Church Street in Edgartown and take the bus (#8) toward South Beach. You can connect through Edgartown from both Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. For more information visit their website. Taxis are also available and typically wait to greet each ferry arrival. It is approximately 20-30 minutes from the Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs ferry terminals with no traffic. SPONSORS We are always looking for sponsors.
