Bimbo Bakeries is proud to host its 5th annual Global Energy Race! On Sunday, September 22nd, 35 cities and 22 countries will join together to set families and individuals of the world in motion. Back for another year, Philadelphia joins four other U.S. cities hosting the 2019 Global Energy Race. You can find the race and festivities at historic Penn’s Landing!

Bimbo Bakeries is also proud to partner with local area food banks banks during September (Hunger Awareness Month). For every kilometer completed by participants, 2 slices of bread will be donated to Philabundance Food Bank to support the local Philadelphia community. Every step helps feed someone in need.

Come run or walk with us for the Cardinal Foley School 5K run and Family Fun Walk! On the Family Fun Walk (1.2 miles) you will travel through the streets of Havertown, while the longer 5K will loop you around the Brookline Neighborhood. Proceeds for this event will be used to benefit the students at Cardinal John Foley Regional Catholic School. Awards: Top 3 M/F finishers, plus top 3 M/F in age groups 8 & under 9-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over; Awards for Top Teacher & Top Student. Cost: Individual – $30 until 11/15, $35 until 11/23, $40 race day. Family – $70 until 11/15, $75 until 11/23, $80 race day (limit 5 people). 10 & Under – $20 at any time.
