On Sunday, September 22nd, 35 cities and 22 countries will join together to set families and individuals of the world in motion. Back for another year, Philadelphia joins four other U.S. cities hosting the 2019 Global Energy Race. You can find the race and festivities at historic Penn’s Landing! About Global Energy Race Bimbo Bakeries is also proud to partner with local area food banks banks during September (Hunger Awareness Month). For every kilometer completed by participants, 2 slices of bread will be donated to Philabundance Food Bank to support the local Philadelphia community. Every step helps feed someone in need.
