Welcome to the 3rd annual Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust 5K Trail Run/Walk! This event will help raise funds to support PERT’s efforts to protect the 828 acres of open space the Pennypack Preserve encompasses. The funds will help to sustain the wildlife habitat, native plant communities, and spectacular views that are becoming increasingly rare in southeastern Pennsylvania. PERT is partnering with the Bryn Mawr Racing Company to provide a great way to celebrate Earth Day! Enjoy your experience in the Pennypack Preserve! Founded in 1970, the mission of the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust is to steward the Pennypack Preserve natural area as an important component of the region’s natural areas network, and to educate and encourage people to appreciate, enjoy, and protect the preserve’s native ecosystems. Thank you for supporting PERT’s efforts.

Your membership to Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust is included your race entry fee. With your membership you’ll receive many direct benefits: a subscription to the Trust’s newsletter, Natural Landscapes; “Coming Events” and birdseed sale flyers throughout the year; discounts on gift shop and birdseed purchases; free or discounted admission to weekend family programs and events; plus, members at levels of $100 and above are invited to special receptions at the Trust each year.

Amenities: Course – A scenic, rolling hills course on grass and gravel that is great for both beginners and “seasoned” trail blazers. The course begins and ends at the headquarters. Since this is a run on nature’s trails, the course will be as close to 5K as we can get it! Also – a t-shirt, refreshments, prizes, and music after the race.

Cost: Member (must enter membership #) – $25 until 4/17; $35 race day. Non-member (registration includes 1 year membership!) – $40 until 4/17; $50 race day. Children under 10 are free.

Ski to Sea is the original multisport relay race, from Mt. Baker to Bellingham Bay. Organize your team of 3-8 racers and join us on Memorial Day weekend! Teammates and spectators await finishing racers in Bellingham’s scenic Marine Park and can experience the Historic Fairhaven Festival, the all-day street party just up the hill.

Returning racers tell us their favorite parts of Ski to Sea are camaraderie and community. From organizing your team to training, racing, and trading stories at the finish line beer garden, Ski to Sea is all about teamwork. It is also about our incredible community of over 800 volunteers who work together to make this event unforgettable, year after year, since 1973.

***March 7, 2020 at Busse Woods*** Who is ready to Party Shamrock Style? The 2020 event will feature a Kick-A** Party DJ, Food Trucks, Big Enclosed Party Tent, Giant Beer Pong & of course plenty of BEEEER. It’s going to be a BrewFest!!

Start the 5K with a toast of a craft brew then run/walk, stopping each kilometer or so to drink another craft beer!

Enjoy a pint of your favorite beer after your 5K!!! Better yet, enjoy a pint before the 5K…

Come and enjoy Party Style 5K, some beer then be rewarded with a magnetic bottle-opening finishers medal! Plus all participants receive a long-sleeve performance tech shirt & pint glass. Not to mention 34 ounces of beer are included!!

Don’t want to do the 5K? Register for the BrewFest! It’s only $10 plus includes a Pint of beer…. Now that’s what I’m talking about, BEER!

This is a 21+ event only. No strollers, no kids, no one under 21 admitted.
