Join us on for our 4th Annual Jackson’s Heroes’ 5K and Family Fun Walk/Run in honor of 3-year-old Jackson Silas Cole. Our mission is to remember the life of Jackson Silas Cole who tragically lost his life in a drowning accident in June 2016. In order to honor and remember Jackson, we have chosen to give back to the community in his name. In particular, we have partnered with the YMCA and their 2nd Grade Swim Initiative program in hopes that we can be a hero to a child and help provide him/her with the skills necessary to become a safe swimmer. Everyone from the competitive runner to the recreational runner or walker is welcome to join us. We will have music, kids’ activities, face painting, awards, and more. Every pre-registered participant will receive a Jackson’s Heroes cape. Don’t be shy! Come dressed as your favorite superhero (Spiderman, Wonder Woman, Batman, a police officer, a medic, a dispatcher, or a firefighter, etc.) because as Jackson proved, there is a superhero inside of each and every one of us. 5K Start Time – 9:10 AM; Fun Run Start Time – 9:00 AM. Participate in a 5k cross country run to help us to support the victim services programs of Delaware County Women Against Rape. Awards: Overall male and female; Top male and female in each group; Overall team. Amenities: Enjoy a Sunday fall morning run/walk in scenic Rose Tree Park, get a T-shirt, enjoy refreshments, prizes, and activities for children. Rules: NO refunds! The Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County is hosting its 9th annual Outrunning Senior Hunger 5K & Fun Mile at Montgomery County Community College. Montco SAAC, the Montgomery County based senior centers that provide social services, educational programming, exercise classes, art classes, and nutrition programming, additionally provides Meals on Wheels to roughly 350 home bound seniors Monday through Friday, making it the largest Meals on Wheels program in Montgomery County. The annual 5K fundraiser helps supplement Montco SAAC’s funding and ensures continued support for older adults within our community. The 5K begins at 9 and the Fun Mile at 9:10. Welcome to the 1st annual Lion’s Pride Park 5K Fun Run and Walk! This event will help raise funds for the construction and maintenance of Lions Pride Park. The park will be offering inter-generational experiences for people of all ages and abilities.  

The Lions Club and Warrington Township are partnering with the Bryn Mawr Racing Company to bring Warrington this annual event, bringing together area residents for a healthy activity, and raising funds for a good cause.  It’s also our hope that you will want to be a part of the day!   The running course will take you through and around the new intergenerational, multi-activity park!
 
The first 250 registrants will receive a FREE t-shirt, refreshments, music, water stations, race prizes, fundraising prizes, and more!  Cost: $20 until 7/31; $30 until 10/18; $35 race day.
