Join us on Sunday, April 26th, 2020 at 9:00 am for an exciting new event that features the scenic views of Loami, IL and the great assortment of wines provided by Sheedy Shores!  With registration options for all wine lovers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great time!

2019 saw a sell out of registrations and we are very excited to add a few extra perks to 2020! The Huckleberry Half Marathon/15k/10k/5k is one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beautiful courses. Stretching through the iconic and beautiful Mt. Hood National Forest with views of the Salmon River and old forest growth, the scenery is one to remember.

Join us for the fourth annual Piggyback Dash. Enjoy a beautiful, rolling course through the streets of Union with a challenging but rewarding finish at the top of Autumn Hill. The 10K and 5K are timed events and medals will be awarded. The 1 mile fun run/walk will not be officially timed and no medals will be provided.

As an added twist, once runners reach the bottom of Autumn Hill they have the opportunity to carry someone piggyback up the hill to the finish line. This is completely voluntary and not required in order to finish. It doesn’t matter who the person on your back is. They do not have to be a registered participant. Runners who do choose to carry someone piggyback up Autumn Hill will receive an extra piece of finisher swag.

Post race refreshments will also be provided. All proceeds benefit the Lance Purschke Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Boston qualifying Marathon + Half Marathon running through the cities of Bryan and College Station, as well as through the Texas A&M University campus. 100% of all proceeds go directly to locally founded charities.

The Building Tomorrows 5K Run, Family Walk, and Fun Fest returns for its 22nd Anniversary! The 5K Run is a double loop race on a flat, scenic course around a beautiful lake. The race will be timed by Tristate Timing with gun and chip timing, digital race results, and split times. All runners will receive a complimentary doughnut as they cross the finish line, an event t-shirt and free admission to the Fun Fest after the race where you can enjoy live music, activities, food, and more! Awards will be presented to the top three over males, top three overall females, and top three male and female in each age group.

Age groups are in 10 year increments, starting at 14 and under through 75 and over. All funds raised will help The Arc of Essex County’s mission of helping children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities participate in every level of society to enjoy fuller, more independent lives.
