This 5k/2k event will raise funds and awareness for Congenital Heart Defects (CHD), the most common birth defect in the world. Amherst Town Common

The Daffodil Run is a celebration of the strength of young people, Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs, and our community! The event includes a 10K run and 5K run/walk, with courses that showcase the 50,000 daffodils planted in celebration of the Town of Amherst’s 250th anniversary. Both courses are USATF certified.

On race day, the Town Common in downtown Amherst will transform into a festive, family-friendly space with a pre-race warm up, activities for all ages, music, a bounce house, games, food from Bueno Y Sano and more. Bring your whole family to run, walk or cheer you on at this favorite springtime event!

The GOMR is the most unique 210-mile team road relay ever developed. The innovative Hub and Spoke system allows runners to enjoy nature and the serenity of running in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains without hundreds of white vans passing you. Teams enjoy a camping area for the weekend where they can relax, play games, sleep, and shower between runs. And GOMR is the greenest road relay because we rent the shuttles that carry runners out to their starting spots and back to GOMR Village when they’ve finished a leg.

GOMR also has many options, so there is something for just about anyone.

Ardmore Rotary Foundation’s 5K is a community event held on Armed Forces Weekend which raises money to benefit Local Veterans and Ardmore Rotary Foundation Projects. Location: 5K and 1 Mile Course inside Suburban Square, Ardmore. Awards: Top 3 overall Men and Women + Age Groups. Amenities: A fun, fast and family friendly event through the streets of Suburban Square. The Race Around the Square consists of a 1 mile looped course. 5K runners will complete 3 laps of the course while 1 Mile walkers will complete one lap.

The start and finish line will be located at the center of Suburban Square on St. James Pl. This unique looped course provides for a great viewing opportunity for families and spectators.

Refreshments, water stations, prizes, t-shirts will be provide to all pre-registered runners.

Cost: 5k – $25 until 5/16, $30 race day; 1 mile – $15.

We will bring students, alumni, teachers, family members, and community members together to help support the future success of the St. Laurence School. This 5k run and fun walk is open to all and proceeds will go toward the future success of this school that we love. “St. Laurence is the Best!” Awards: Top 3 overall M/F and top 3 M/F in each age group. Amenities: The course for the 5k will be a spectator-friendly two loop course which traces smooth and quiet residential roads that neighbor the school. The course will include water stops and clear course markings. Participant T-shirt, post-race refreshments and a fun and family-friendly finish area will make for a grand celebration of SLS! Prizes will be awarded to top finishers as well as age-group prizes. Cost: $30 until 4/20, then $35 through race day.

The Lake Mary High School Booster Club Presents the 13th Annual Lake Mary 5K to enhance student activities and support the Field Turf and Track Projects. The installation of new artificial field turf and track is a current project that the Athletic Dept is undertaking.

The 5K Run is a Road Start and a stadium Finish! Hear your name on the Don T Reynolds Stadium PA system as you round the track to the finish and your victory lap. Cool down and celebrate under shade trees after you catch your breath.

This is a chip timed road race through the local neighborhoods. All turns and miles will be marked marked. You can download FREE finish line photos into social media after the race. Results will be LIVE ONLINE, via text message and email as you cross the finish line.

ENTRY FEES: $20 until midnight May 1, 2020. $25 until midnight Wednesday May 6, 2020, $25 cash and check only on Thursday and Friday. Race day entry is $30

Race Day Schedule: Packet pick up and late registration: 6 am to 7:15 5K begins at 7:30 SHARP, Kids Dash will begin at 8:30 and AWARDS will be held at 8:45 am.

AWARDS: The overall Male and Female, top Masters (Over 40) Male and Female and TOP THREE finishers in each age group will be awarded.
Age Groups are: 13 and Under, 14 – 16, 17 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55, -59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69 and 70 and Over

PARKING: There is plenty of parking available in school lots in close proximity to the stat and finish lines.
