Register now for the 34th annual Real Florida 5K/10K cross country run and fun walk through beautiful Wekiwa Springs State Park. The race takes place on Saturday, February 27th, 2021. Real FL. 2021. 

This is the only race in the area that is run entirely off-road. Every finisher gets a medal and commemorative t-shirt and there are prizes for the overall 5K and 10 K races (male and female) as well as prizes for every age group winner (winner). The Candy Cane Dash is one of the favorite family runs in Frederick, Md. With the current pandemic, we’ve gone virtual so you can run, hop, or skip your 5k anywhere and anytime you want between December 5th and 20th, 2020. The elves are hard at work churning out your swag – sweet tech shirts, neck gaiters and race medals that double as Christmas tree ornaments. This event benefits Girls on the Run of Mid and Western Maryland.

The Virtual Spook Hill Cider & Wine 4-Mile Run might not be the same as our nationally recognized in-person event, but we’re doing our best to deliver great SWAG and have developed two RaceJoy routes for those that want to compete while maintaining proper social-distancing.

Welcome back to LIVE running and to our first 5K. We are holding this event to raise funds to purchase pool covers for our swim facility.

Florida is the swimming capital of the United States. In order to be competitive in athletics today, we know that we must train year round, just like you do. The winter months are critical to conditioning but we can’t do it in a facility that is too cold to swim in. That is why we are asking for your help. Funds raised at this event will help us achieve this goal. You will be helping local kids who swim today and for many years to come. Better facilities can also attract new swimmers and they could be YOURS!
