Bullseye Running is a running club/team, timing company program and event coordinator with a special focus to keep kids active. Creating Bullseye Running ensures the Howard County Junior Striders will continue to be managed at the highest level and that many opportunities will be made available in the local running community for kids as well as adults.

Coach Lang thanks the Howard County Striders, Oakland Mills Scorpions and all those that have supported him and given him a chance to move into a full time position supporting the youth runners.

On March 1, 2018, “the meeting of the Grove City Running/T&F Minds” occurred discussing one complex idea.  They planned on starting a Grove City (PA) non-profit community Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) / USA Track & Field (USATF) club that would cater to youth, recreational adults, families, walkers, and serious athletes.

Activities would include things such as group training runs, elementary programs, group track speed workouts, cookouts/social events, supported relay races, athlete scholarships, etc. The idea was simple – pool all of the available resources in the Grove City (PA) area and make it a thriving running/T&F community for youth AND adults. The formation of the Grove City Athletics Club (GCAC) was the result.

The 5k race will be held in conjunction with The Cedar Beach Basketball Showcase.  The location for the event is Cedar Beach Park, 2600 Parkway Blvd, Allentown, PA 18104.  Packet pick-up will be held at the Emmaus Run Inn on Friday June 21 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and Race Day prior to the event. 

Race Day sign up begins at 7:00 am at Cedar Beach Park. 

Awards to top three in each age category male & female: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.  The Top 5 Walkers will be awarded gift cards.  Cost: $25 pre-registered, $30 race day. 

Entry by June 8 guarantees T-Shirt and Gift Bag.  Special pricing is available for Wegmans employees.

Many do not realize that this event is the longest consecutively held running event in the state of Hawaii!

Not only that, it has been chosen as one of the top 10 Most Scenic Marathons in the nation by Runner’s World magazine (Feb. 96), and the #10 destination marathon in North America, by the Ultimate Guide to Marathons.

Your First Mud Run is the ONLY mud run in the country designed so both parents and kids can run together.
