The Leprechaun Run is one of Philadelphia’s oldest traditions. Starting in 1984, the Leprechaun Run is one of Philadelphia’s first races of the season, and originally offered a 5-Mile Race and 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk. In 2017, the Leprechaun Run expanded to include a Lucky 7-Mile Race in addition to the other two distances.

The Leprechaun Run is an event to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Pennsylvania’s Philadelphia local program (SOPA-Philadelphia). Funds raised from the Leprechaun Run support operating costs for nearly 1,000 athletes that participate in  Special Olympics activities across the city of Brotherly Love. Special Olympics PA holds more than 250 competitions and training events each year. All training and competition opportunities are provided free of charge to the athletes and their families, enabling everyone to experience the benefits of Special Olympics that extend well beyond the playing field.  Location: Schuylkill Banks Palapa – where MLK Drive meets West River Drive and the Schuylkill Trail Connector, by the Philadelphia of Art.  Faster runners will line up at the front, slower runners towards the back, followed by walkers. 

Day of registration and bib pickup will also be available on site until 7:20 am.  Cost: Lucky 7 mile race – $50; Classic 5 mile race – $40; 2 mile walk – $30.

Located primarily in the Bergen County area. We meet for weekly group runs and provide free training plans from 10k to marathon. Additionally, offer weekly coached speed workouts. We have social events monthly (post-run/race brunches, trivia, game nights, community service).  And no matter what show the most ridiculous support to our members and runners everywhere.

We also have both beginner 5k programs and intermediate 5k, 10k, and half programs all led by certified coaches.

General Event Information – 50M, 50K, and 20K in the Desoto National forest on gently rolling pine forest, mostly single track with some double track logging roads. Packet pickup, Prerace meal and Briefing at the Laurel Fairgrounds Friday night. Post race meal on-site at the start/finish line. Finisher mementos. Belt buckles to 50 Mile finishers. 23rd annual.

Registration Fees – $80 till Feb 1, then $90. $10 surcharge on paper entry.

Join us for the 4th Annual Joggin’ for Frogmen 5K and Tadpole Trot on Saturday, May 18, 2019 on beautiful Amelia Island, FL.

We are Joggin’ for our Frogmen on Armed Forces Day.  This is a perfect event to honor our Armed Forces and their families.   We are excited about returning to the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, 2800 Bill Melton Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.  The north course will be our track and it should prove to be a great race.

There is nothing better than a benefit for the Navy SEAL Foundation and helping to care for our Naval Special Warfare community and their families. Run to honor and remember our fallen, but also run for those 8400 members of the Naval Special Warfare community and their families that carry a heavy load to protect and serve all of us. 100% of the proceeds from this event are donated to the Navy SEAL Foundation.

Flat, fast, scenic two-mile loop, paved, park trail. Four on a team. Scoring will be by combined time of all 4 scoring team members. Each runner may run only 1 (2 mile) leg per team; but may run on more than 1 team. Awards 3 deep in each to 8 team categories (Male & Female Open, Male & Female Masters, Mixed Open and Masters, 18 & Under, 1st Responders). Prizes will also be awarded for Best Team Costume and Best Team Name.
