Founded 55 years ago by Shore A.C., Polar Bear, the club’s longest-standing and most legendary race, has never been rescheduled due to inclement weather. Even after dealing with the devastating effects left by Superstorm Sandy, Shore A.C. organizers proudly kept the annual event up and running. Rest assured, the job always gets done!

Rain, snow, or sunshine, the 10 mile race-walk begins at 10:00 AM, and the 5K race begins at 1:00 PM. For the 5K only: awards will be given to the overall top 3 male and female finishers and the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group.

The first 500 entrants will receive a complimentary T-shirt and completion medal, and all race-walkers will receive a T-shirt. At the conclusion of the 5K run, participants and spectators may enjoy hot soup generously provided by The Robinson Ale House!

This event honors all Vietnam Veterans. The 10 mile race walk begins at 9:00 AM and the 5K run begins at 11:00 AM.  $30 per person prior to the event, $35 per person the day of the event. $20 for all Veterans and Military Personnel.  T-shirts guaranteed to the first 100 runners registered. 

Awards will be given to the overall top 3 Female and Male finishers, as well as, age group winners.

This community event supports the Scott Gorham Scholarship Fund and other Lions club charitable and service projects.

It’s wellness in the wilderness. Wellderness promotes fitness, nature, nutrition, self-care and self-exploration. And there’s no better place to go experience it all than at Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Colorado. Wellderness will host a full weekend of activities and events where participants can partake in group fitness, meet outdoor experts, try new products, and have some fun.

Enjoy a scenic loop around Estes Lake and an out & back-up Fish Creek Road Trail. Chip timed. T-shirt, free entry into the Wellderness Expo, beer/drink at post race expo, and finisher medal included.
