Welcome to the 1st annual Lion’s Pride Park 5K Fun Run and Walk! This event will help raise funds for the construction and maintenance of Lions Pride Park. The park will be offering inter-generational experiences for people of all ages and abilities.  

The Lions Club and Warrington Township are partnering with the Bryn Mawr Racing Company to bring Warrington this annual event, bringing together area residents for a healthy activity, and raising funds for a good cause.  It’s also our hope that you will want to be a part of the day!   The running course will take you through and around the new intergenerational, multi-activity park!
 
The first 250 registrants will receive a FREE t-shirt, refreshments, music, water stations, race prizes, fundraising prizes, and more!  Cost: $20 until 7/31; $30 until 10/18; $35 race day.

Grab your capes and tights and join us on Sunday, September 29, 2019 for our Superhero 5k! All runners receive a t-shirt, pre & post run snacks, goody bag, a fun warm-up and post run mini yoga session. Winner receive medals and prizes. There will also be fun activities for Kids: Face Painting,Obstacle Course, Crafts, Kiddie Dash and Games.

All proceeds from the race go directly towards helping our kids in Uganda. Be a hero, save a child!

Every dollar raised improves the lives of those impacted by lupus and is critical to advancing the lupus Movement. The Lupus Foundation is the only national force devoted to solving the mystery of lupus – one of the world’s cruelest, most unpredictable, and devasting diseases – while giving caring support to those who suffer from its brutal impact. The money raised at this event accounts for 70% of our annual revenue, used to provide services, outreach efforts, and research programs to the 48,000 people affected by lupus in the Philadelphia Tristate area. Your fundraising has a direct impact on the lives of those with lupus and the lives of their loved ones, right in your own backyard.

This year, the MassBay 5k Race/Walk will benefit the Student Hunger Assistance Fund, which was established in response to the increasing awareness of food insecurity among our students. In a survey conducted at MassBay in the spring of 2017, it was reported that 52% of respondents suffer from food insecurity. Our hope is to not only reduce food insecurity in our students, but also to educate the community at large about the breadth of hunger and how that impacts students’ ability to succeed in college and beyond.

Run for nature at Natural Lands’ 5th annual ChesLen Chase for Open Space, with 10K & 5K runs and a 2-Mile Fun Run-Walk!
The challenging trail runs include steep hills, creek crossings, woodlands, and open fields. The fun continues after crossing the finish line with a post-race party at ChesLen’s Lenfest Center, featuring brews from 2SP Brewing, food, live music, and an awards ceremony. 

Natural Lands is a non-profit organization that saves open space, cares for nature, and connects people to the outdoors in eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.  We’ve been at it since the early 1950s and, today, more than 2.5 million people live within five miles of lands under our permanent protection. 

Beer! Live Music! Food!  The post-race party at ChesLen’s Lenfest Center features live music, 2SP Brewing craft beers, food, awards ceremony, and more! All registered participants receive 1 FREE craft beer (over 21 only).  Kids 12 & Under will receive a kids meal with PB&J sandwich, chips, and drink.  Race T-Shirt! Participants MUST pre-register by Oct. 2 to guarantee shirt size and availability. A limited number of shirts will be available on race day on a first come, first served basis for anyone registered after Oct. 2. 

Awards will be given to the top M/F 10k & 5k finisher, plus age group awards in each race.  There will also be a team competition! 

Packet pick-up: Bibs, T-Shirts and Fundraising Rewards, can be picked-up on Friday, 10/18, 5:00 – 7:00pm at Bryn Mawr Running Co in West Chester, PA. 

Cost: 5k & 10k – $35 until 10/2, $40 after ($5 team discount); 2 mile walk – $25 until 10/2, $30 after.
