One. Healthy. Community. 5K Run & Walk is a fun, community event for the whole family. We are proud that our day includes:

Online Registration will close on Friday night, December 6^that midnight. Walk-up registration is welcome on Sunday morning and starts at 7 am, so if you don’t have a chance to sign up online, we still look forward to seeing you on race day!

One. Healthy. Community. 5K Run & Walk aims to raise funds and awareness for Westside JCC’s health and wellness programs for individuals with special needs, children, youth, and senior adults. Some of the programs which benefit from this event include:

Start line is behind Westside JCC (5870 West Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036) on San Vicente Blvd in Miracle Mile in the heart of Los Angeles. Please see below for parking and registration instructions.

Online registration will close at midnight on Friday, December 7^th. After that, registration will be done in person on race day.

Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up

On race day, registration and packet pick up will be open starting at 7 am. Please plan on arriving at least one hour before your designated start time. Registration and packet pick up will be on San Vicente Boulevard in the 5800 block. Day-of registrations welcome!

FREE race day parking is available at the Olympia Medical Center parking structure located on the Northwest corner of West Olympic Boulevard and Genesee Avenue. There are limited spaces available and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Please have your ID card and registration confirmation email available to show the parking attendant. If you are registering on race day, let the parking attendant know. NOTE: Westside JCC’s parking lot is reserved for volunteers and vendors. All attendees should park at the Olympia Medical Center parking structure

Race course

The course for the event is USATF Certified and will be officially timed by ITZAboutTime.  It will be an out and back 5k course on San Vicente Boulevard between Olympic Boulevard and La Brea Avenue.  The start and finish line will be located on San Vicente Boulevard near Stanley Avenue.

Health and Wellness Expo

Be sure to stop by our health and wellness expo for some FREE FOOD AND DRINK.  We will have bagels and cream cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, and hot chocolate.  Make sure to stop by and meet with our partners to learn about exciting health and wellness programs.

Kids Fun Zone

The Kids Fun Zone will include a bounce house, facepainting, science, sports, and other fun activities. Meet staff and directors from our preschool and JCamp.

Kids Fun Run

At 9:30 am there will be a half mile run for all children. We ask that all children register and the children under 5 years old are accompanied by an adult. Kids are welcome to wear costumes and have fun!

Babysitting

Babysitting is available for parents that want to run 7 – 9:15 am. Advance registration is required, and parents must stay on site at the event during this time.

This event is dog-friendly and stroller friendly, so be sure to bring everyone in your family!

Come out to support a fundraising 5K & Walk.

Monies will benefit the nonprofit The Challenge.  All monies raised will be used to support the youth of Chester County….We see the potential in all.

Important Disclaimer–The Red Run Challenge is based on the Coatesville Christmas Parade.  The Parade works with the state and local officials on closing down Route 30 for the parade to occur.  If the Coatesville Christmas Parade is cancelled, the run will be cancelled as well and WILL NOT be rescheduled.  There will be no refunds in the event of cancellation.

The annual Plymouth Rock ‘n’ Run 5K/10K/10 Mile Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot, hosted by Research for Cure, is volunteer staffed, grassroots event whose proceeds directly support Reeve-Irvine Research Center (RIRC) at UC Irvine.  America’s largest and most progressive spinal-cord injury research facility, RIRC is dedicated to advancing cures for spinal cord injuries, neuromuscular disease, and neurological disorders towards improving the lives of those who have experienced the debilitating effects of such injuries and illnesses.

By exposing the value and urgency for such treatments, Plymouth Rock ‘n’ Run further strives to facilitate collaborative individual and business efforts, enhance the ideals of social responsibility, and promote social action to achieve improved health for a world-wide community.

20th Annual Mews Tavern Gear N Beer 6.9K with post event celebration including DJ, hot lunch buffet, various micro breweries and an amazing drawing. Open to children, adults and teams of all shapes and sizes!

We believe that as a local business here in Lima we should give back to the community that we serve. The West Ohio Food Bank will deliver about six and a half million pounds of food this year to over 100+ agencies, shelters, soup kitchens and pantries in their 11 county service area. This being said, they need all the help they can get. So, for the last several years we have hosted this event to raise awareness and donations. 

The event will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2019, registration starts at 8:00 and the race at 9am. Registration fee is $25. The race will start at the Faurot Park Amphitheater, and travel through the beautiful scenic bike trail and back to the park. Refreshments available after race.

You’re invited to lace up and join our 5K or 1.5 Mile Fun Run in Parsippany, NJ on Saturday, October 19, 2019! Not only will you get the opportunity to participate in a chip-timed race, you’re taking steps to bring clean, safe, drinking water to the people of Rwanda – a country striving to be the first in Africa with 100% access to clean water.

All ages, stages, and abilities are welcome to participate. Serious Runners will appreciate our 5K chip-timed race. Families will appreciate the ability to walk or even stroll with babies at our 5K or 1.5 Mile Fun Run. You can sign-up solo or create teams with family and friends. Spectators will enjoy free coffee, indoor family-friendly funtivities, and our outdoor Expo.
