Unity in Diversity 5K Gainesville FL

The Unity in Diversity Student Organization in partnership with the UF College of Medicine and the UF Chief Diversity Officer presents to you the inaugural “Unity in Diversity 5K Run, Walk & Roll Race.” Our collaboration is centered on diversity and inclusion, unification of people from all different walks of life from Gainesville and the Gator Nation in a healthy, active community-wide event while raising funds for the College of Medicine's Willie J. Sanders Scholarship fund. The goal of the Unity in Diversity 5k Run, Walk & Roll is to unite students of all ages, adults, families, people of all cultures, faiths, ethnicities, genders, disabilities, and beliefs as we recognize that everyone is unique in their own way; however, finding a common ground and shedding light on what holds us all together.  The event will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2020 @ 7:30am. Pre-race registration, race start/finish and post-race celebration will take place at the Academic Research Building property and adjacent grounds. The race is wheelchair and stroller friendly.
