Radnor Memorial Library’s Elves for the Shelves 3 Week Virtual Move-A-Thon invites library supporters of all ages (furry friends too!) to run, walk, or bike to show their support for the library. 

During this unprecedented time, we are proud to offer sponsors and other supporters a virtual event that compares to previous years and offers not 1 day, but 3 weeks of fun!  How to Participate:  You can participate anywhere!  Run, walk, bike, or even walk your dog!  You can get moving in your neighborhood, on the Radnor Trail, on a treadmill, or on Peloton!  Whether you want to go the distance, or run a 5k, this event has something for you! 

Distance Challenge:  Go the distance around Radnor Township! Log at least 16.03 miles to be eligible for prizes.  Be sure to record your mileage on the Results page!  5K Run:  Runners, show us your stuff!  You have the option to participate by using the free RaceJoy app on your phone.  Or, simply time yourself and manually enter your 5k time on the Results page.  Prizes:  Prizes will be awarded for both participation and performance!  Record your runs, walks, or rides online to be entered for prizes!  Participate with RaceJoy to compete!  Or, post a selfie on social media and tag @radnorlibrary to be entered in a raffle!  Post a picture while doing a ride on Peloton, a run on the Radnor Trail, or a walk through your neighborhood!  Swag:  All registrants are eligible for a race t-shirt!  T-shirt pick up will be at the library.  You will receive an email when t-shirts are available for pick up.  Children ages 12 and under who complete a 5k or the Distance Challenge will also receive a special certificate.  Donations:  DONATIONS are welcome!  With your $300 donation you will be recognized as a "Family Sponsor."  Family Sponsors will be recognized on event signage and on our website.  Family Sponsors who donate by November 9 will also be recognized on event t-shirts.  Or, with your $100 donation you will be recognized as an "Elf of Encouragement."  Elves of Encouragement will also be recognized on signage and the website.  Important notes:  Participants have three weeks, starting November 14th and ending December 5th to participate. 

REGISTRATION will remain open throughout the course of the event! Encourage your friends to participate with you!  More than ever, we appreciate your support.  We wish you and your family all the best during this time.  Stay safe and healthy!  And we will see you VIRTUALLY!  Cost: $25
