This flat and fast 5K course begins and ends inside National Historic Landmark Fort Mifflin and gets started with a BLAST from the cannon! Runnners and walkers will enjoy friendly competition on course and in the “Patriotic Attire” contest. Custom medals to top 3 finishers overall (M/F) and top finishers (M/F) in age groups. After the race enjoy the Kids Dash, cannon and musket demonstrations, and all the fun of Fort Mifflin’s annual Airplane Day with special exhibits, tours and activities! Well behaved dogs on leash welcome at the Fort and on the course. Special prize to the “Most PAW-triotic” participant! FREE admission to Fort Mifflin from 8 AM till 10 AM. After 10 AM Special Event Admission applies ($10 General Admission, $8 Seniors, $6 Veterans & Students 5 – 12). Cost – $25 until 5/22, $35 until 6/12, $40 race day.

• Join us Thursday’s at 6:30pm for a group run/walk at Runwell for College Students only!
• The route will be an out and back, so feel free to go as far as you want (2-6 miles) on the beautiful MTC trails around Edwardsville. We will meet at Runwell.
• All college students are welcome to join.
• We will have a kickoff party including pizza, beverages, games, discounts, & giveaways afterwards.
• All paces and distances are welcome! Make new friends and get/stay active!
• After the run, feel free to use our shower, bring some dry clothes, and grab food/drinks at a local downtown establishment!

The funds raised from the 2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – San Diego are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments, free prostate cancer testing, and educate men and families about prostate cancer. No other prostate cancer charity spends more per dollar on programs – more than 85 cents. ZERO puts every donation to good use.

Half Marathon Course Description:  This local San Diego Trail Half Marathon runs around beautiful Otay Lakes near the USA Olympic Training Center.  The race starts at the South side of the Lake and runs along the Lake shore with a short jaunt to the upper lake and back..

***NOTICE: Actual Course distance is 13.3 miles! This is a trail race and therefore distances can’t always be exact. Don’t worry, we won’t charge you extra for it. *** It is MANDATORY (HIGHLY SUGGESTED) that all Half Marathon runners carry at minimum 12 oz. hand bottle for hydration. This is a trail race and we are trying to eliminate the use of cups at Aid Stations to truly go green and sustainable. We need you to do your part. We will meet you half way this year … but may go completely green in 2018.  So start running with a handbottle or backpack now!

10K Description:

The 10K is flat and fast with lots of lake views and single track technical trail.  The turn-around point is at the main aid station.
