READY….SET…..RUN!!!! Join us for the first annual CELTIC CHASE 5k. This race will wind around the scenic Trinity Catholic High Campus on a variety of terrains. Will your score big in your age group and bring home a super cool medal???
All proceeds will benefit the TCHS football team’s 2019-20 season
The 10th Annual RACE FOR EDUCATION 5K AND OBSTACLE RUN will be held on Sat Sept 7, 2019 at 8:00 am at CGTC’s (80 Cohen Walker Dr) Warner Robins campus. The Race for Education is held annually in September in celebration of National Literacy Month. The event raises funds and awareness for adult education in middle Georgia.
Race Day Registration and Packet Pick UP will begin at 7:00am
5K START is at 8:00 am
Obstacle Run START is at 8:30 am. The Obstacle Run is NOT TIMED by chip.
T shirts are guaranteed to all entrants who register by Aug 23, 2019 at midnight.
AWARDS: Awards will be given to the OVERALL MALE and FEMALE winners and the top 3 in each age group from 14 and under to 70 and over
Timing and results will be provided by Milestone Race Authority. Your time will be recorded by disposable bib chip timing. No need to gasp for air and water while a volunteer removes a shoe chip!
Results will be posted as runners finish, LIVE Online at ITS Your Race.com, by TEXT Message, instant EMAIL, and the fabulous Jaguar Kiosk. Kiosk is a touch screen computer where you tap in your bib number and print out your own personal results. How COOL is THAT?

Each fall the Howard County Autism Society’s One Step Closer Walk & 5K Run builds autism awareness and acceptance in the community, bringing together those touched by autism and the greater community in a supportive, energizing, fun environment that offers something for everyone!
We have runners and walkers who participate individually or harness your fundraising power by joining or forming a team to run or walk. Either way, you’ll be able to reach out to your network of friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, to raise additional funds for the Howard County Autism Society!
Event timeline is as follows:
9am Registration and packet pick-up, complimentary breakfast for runners, walkers, sponsors.
9:40am Welcome and introductions
10am Starting time for 5K race participants
10:10am Starting time for walk participants
10:20amStarting time for Amazing Racers
11:30am Awards and closing remarks.
There will be children’s activities — face painting, Star Wars costumed performers, a moon bounce and inflatable jousting. Special guests will include the Howard County Police Department and Fire & Rescue, and “Joey” the kangaroo from LAUNCH Trampoline! Visit the exhibitor tables staffed by local businesses, organizations, health & human service agencies and microbusinesses owned or operated by those on the autism spectrum.
Every dollar raised at this event will stay here in Howard County, impacting individuals with autism and their families. This year, our goal is to raise $65,000.
For 25 years, the Howard County Autism Society (HCAS) has served individuals on the autism spectrum, their families and community by providing information, support, and advocacy; promoting awareness of autism that values the dignity and uniqueness of each individual; and working to improve the quality of and access to services and educational opportunities. With your participation, we can continue to provide critical services throughout the lifespan, raise awareness and educate the public about the complexities of autism.

EARLY PACKET PICK UP IS SCHEDULED FOR October 3rd, from 5:00-8:00pm at RoadRunner Sports, 663- Marie Curie Drive in Elkridge, MD.
Beat the crowds and pick up your T-Shirts and bibs/chips for the 5K Run. Special savings that night if you purchase anything at RoadRunner! You may also pick up on-site the day of the event beginning at 9am.

This is a flat, fast race in the heart of the beautiful Clovis California. Our race offers a triathlon (olympic, sprint, super sprint, and youth distances), duathlon, and a 5k run/walk option. We are also proudly the hosts of the USAT Age Group and High School State championships.
All participants get a high quality tech shirt, breakfast, finishers medal, and a fun day of racing!

A friendly reminder this will be a virtual 5K/10K Run/Walk, so all of our participants will be completing the race however they’d like. Whether that means running on the treadmill, walking laps in the neighborhood, or jogging a nice loop on a local trail. It’s all up to you and how’d you like to complete it!

On September 12th, 2020 Donor Network West will host the 10th Annual Donate Life Run/Walk 5K and 10K VIRTUALLY! The Donate Life Run/Walk helps raise awareness of the need for organ and tissue donors in California and Nevada. All proceeds from the event will benefit our efforts to inspire California and Nevada residents to register on the Donate Life California and Donate Life Nevada Organ and Tissue Donor Registry, as well as honoring the donors and their families who have already given the Gift of Life.
Going virtual this year was a hard choice, but we much rather do this then postpone or cancel the event. We believe it’s still going to be just as fun and meaningful. Hopefully we’ll be able to reach others who are a little farther away who want to support such a great cause. So strap on some running shoes power, up that treadmill or go for socially distancing jog. Whatever your choice go run/walk to support organ & tissue donation and #RUN4LIFE.
