The 16th Annual Children’s Friend Walk & Run sponsored by Panera Bread

Join Children’s Friend and Panera Bread on Saturday, May 5, 2018 for a great day at the park for a good cause. We’re raising money for Rhode Island’s most vulnerable children with a walk or timed 5K run, live performances, arts and crafts, and a free lunch courtesy of our Title Sponsor, Panera Bread. The proceeds from The Walk & Run benefit Children’s Friend, Rhode Island’s oldest child welfare agency

All proceeds will be going to support the Cedar Hill, Texas Band Programs.  We are working to provide scholarships for our graduating seniors and the bi-annual Trip. Come out and support!  We are hosting a 1 mile fun run or a 5K Color Run.

We offer a certified 8k on pavement and a 4k that is a mix of trail and roads.  Both events are chip timed.  We have refreshments, t-shirts and a free fun run. City wide celebration too.

#2 in the Morrison County Run for Fun Challenge

This event is held in the iconic tourist destination of Pismo Beach, California. The Stride with the Tide 5k is run every year from the Pismo Pier to the Oceano Dunes and back. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome, as are dogs and strollers.

Please join us for the 32nd Annual Women’s Distance Festival 5K Run/Walk on Saturday July 13th as we come together to raise money to help the Center for Safety and Change in its mission to support, house and provide services to the victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking and all crimes.

Sign up for the 5K and compete as an individual or create a Mother/Daughter, Sister/Sister, or Grandmother/Granddaughter team. We also have a team event for groups of 5 or more!

Online Registration is $25 for Rockland Road Runner members, and $30 for non-members.  Team registrations are available for Mother/Daughter, Sister/Sister, or Grandmother/Granddaughter at $50 provided that at least one team member is a Rockland Road Runner.  If neither is a Rockland Road Runner, then the cost will be $60.  Teams of 5 runners/walkers are available for a discounted cost of $25 a team member provided that the team meets a minimum requirement of 5 members.  Running teams will be an awarded category like the others.

Online registration closes at 11:59pm Monday July 8th.  Registration can be done in person at Pre Race Packet Pick-up on July 12th from 12-8, but once online registration closes, in person registration is $40 a person no matter what you are registering for. We cannot guarantee shirts for those who register in person.  THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Packet Pickup Will be from 12pm to 8pm on Friday, July 12th at Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Palisades Center in West Nyack. We cannot guarantee shirts for those who register in person.

Join the Prince George’s Running Club (PGRC) for Springburst’s 36th year. The event will feature a 6.2 mil out and back course as well as a free kids one-mile fun run.

The 10K race is part of the MDRRCA Race Series.

Race premium will include our uniquely designed race t-shirt. All particpants registered by March 31, 2020 will receive a shirt. Late registrants are not guaranteed shirt and size.

Awards for the 10K will be given to the top 3 finishers (both male and female) of the race and top finisher in each age group (both male and female): under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, over 70.

All participants in the fun run will receive a finishers medal.
