The All-volunteer  Delaware Ovarian Cancer Foundation invites you to support our Fund raising  5K Event, with your participation, donation, or sponsorship.

 

*The  Delaware Ovarian Cancer Foundation  Mission is three-fold: to increase awareness and education about ovarian cancer among women and healthcare professionals in Delaware and the surrounding vicinity; to fund research to ultimately develop a diagnostic screening; and to provide support for women affected by ovarian cancer.

 

DOCF is the premier local Ovarian Cancer organization, a special purpose fund of the Delaware Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Tax I.D. #22-2804785.  97% of every dollar donated directly supports these goals to fund research, promote education, & support women with Ovarian Cancer.  100% of your donation is tax deductible. 

More education, exposure, and research is needed to help reduce the mortality rate of this silent disease. To date, No screening test exists, so it is extremely difficult to diagnose.By the time a woman is  finally diagnosed with ovarian cancer,the deadliest of all gynecologic cancers, there is a very low chance for successful treatment and remission..

DOCF continues to support ovarian cancer research at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute through a two- year grant,  of

 $50,000 annually !
