BACC Icebreaker Triathlon – I Tri for Pie Race Description

Our unique triathlon starts with a lap swim in our six lane heated pool. Next, racers bike and run through the beautiful Barron countryside. Our advanced division, where you can compete as an individual or as a team, consists of a 1/4 mile swim, a 13.1 mile bike and finish with a 5K run. In the Novice Division you will compete as an individual and swim 1/8 mile, bike 5.2 miles and run 1 mile.

SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2020 – Join the Kronenwetter Fire Department as we honor the memory of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th, 2001.

Sign up for the 6th annual Run for the Fallen to remember those who gave it all and pay tribute to those who continue to serve our communities today. This family-friendly event includes a 5K run/walk, 10K Run, 1 Mile Kid’s Run and 1 Mile Firefighter Challenge.

Participants will receive an event tee, Fallen Hero Honor Badge, raffle ticket and more from the Village of Kronenwetter Fire Department, National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and our fine sponsors.

All participants are invited to join us at 8:45 AM for the Opening Memorial Ceremony, where we will have a prayer for the fallen, a live bagpipe tribute, honor guard services and special guest speakers from Ground Zero and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

You won’t want to miss this impeccably organized and coordinated, one of a kind running experience! Run For The Fallen will benefit the programs of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Village of Kronenwetter Fire Department. .

Please join us at Ethan & Chocos Book Clubs (ECBC) 3rd annual charity run, BOOK IT! Racing for Reading for Hospitalized Kids. All proceeds will go to ECBC to support ongoing and upcoming book and reading programs at CHOC Childrens Hospital.

Participants of the Maple Leaf Walk Run will have a unique experience- running on the famous Oktoberfest Parade Route just hours before it is full of marching bands, floats and the Oktoberfest Royal Family.

Enjoy 13.1 scenic miles of the Mississippi River, majestic bluffs and the support of spectators along the parade route. The course is flat and fast, easy to set a personal best on. The finish is in Riverside Park, overlooking the Mississippi River.
