Shadey’s Rugged Run is a 3.5 mile mud/obstacle run that tests the physical strength of it’s runners. Shadey’s Rugged Run provides an amazing experience that the participants will never forget. • Run with the Nuns is a race through natural hills and picturesque scenery of Mount Assisi and the Mount Assisi Convent.
• This challenging all-terrain course features a variety of surfaces from asphalt to grass.

What better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than participating in the 10th annual Shamrock ‘n Run. The Shamrock ‘N’ Run is a family fun 5k/10k run/walk hosted by PHN Charitable Foundation. Join us at Thelma’s Sports Nook on 3/12/2022 for an event you don’t want to miss. Each participant will receive a race memento item. Event features include the 5k/10k, basket raffle, entertainment, breakfast, and more!

The in-person event is March 12th!

VIRTUAL RACE PARTICIPANTS will be mailed their event memento and awards. Please submit your time on runsignup.com between March 4th and March 18th. 

Please note: 10k participants will run the 5k route twice.

Route Details: Start on E High St in front of Thelma’s Sports Nook, left on Hickory St, right on E Shenango, left on N Mercer, left on Trout Island Trail and go out the trail to the turn around and come back the same way.

Start time: registration starts at 9:00 AM, the 5k and 10k will both start at 10:00 AM.

Pre-Registration Prices: 5k- $25.00, 10k- $35.00

Day of Registration Prices: 5k- $30.00, 10k- $40.00

Awards for the top male and female overall will be distributed, as well as for the top three male and female in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.

Experience one of the most beautiful waterfront courses on the east coast. Unique “space” themed aid stations along a partially shaded mostly flat course. A USATF certified course and a great Boston qualifier.

Join us at the event that many are calling one of the best races on the East Coast, NOW FINISHING AT THE INNER HARBOR. With five distances to choose from, and all runners snagging a great Under Armour shirt for participating, this event is for you! You won’t want to miss the 19th Baltimore Running Festival!

Marathon: The fair yet challenging course travels through the many diverse neighborhoods including the scenic Inner Harbor waterfront area, historic Federal Hill and charming Fells Point. The route also travels through the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore right past the penguin exhibit who will undoubtedly be dressed in their tuxedos awaiting your arrival. Miles 16-20 of the marathon route have been compared to Boston’s famed “Heartbreak Hill” but runners are rewarded with a loop around Lake Montebello which provides some relief and flat terrain. The final 5 miles are mostly downhill and boast some of our most friendly spectators who have been known to hand out gummy bears and open their homes for bathroom emergencies. Then it’s a left turn onto Pratt Street to a finish in the shadow of the USS Constellation and a celebration of your run along the waterfront promenade through McKeldin Square, West Shore Park and Rash Field.
